Here is the deal. Over the past week iv sent 5 pms to users asking about the domains they have for sale. Not one of them has replied to my questions.

I can only thing of one reason why. They want to scam buyers by selling high PR domains that are only high PR for the moment.
Once you buy those domains they drop in rank. Thats called scamming isnt it?

Seriously, my question has been simple. I want to know how you can be selling a domain that is ranked a PR3 with no content and no backlinks.
Thats pretty much been my question. Really simple to answer but NOT one reply from those sellers.

What kind of scammers are lurking in the for sale > Domains thread?

Does anyone know how these scammers are inflating PR just to make a sale?

PR3 domain with nothing but the default wordpress installation, no backlinks, no content nothing. Even if they can sell it off for $30 its a total sham!!!!

They will no doubt either be dropped domains which they have bought or fake page rank. Dropped domains are the likly option though. They are 'lots' of domains dropping daily which still have PR.. you buy the domain you get the PR until the next update where there is a high chance the PR will drop back to nothing.

Well thats called scamming. This is way out of hand. If you look at the domains for sale 90% of them have no website or have a website but no content.

well this is the joy of buying and selling dropped domains, if you know what you are doing you can get the domain to keep the PR but thats only worth it if the domain is PR5+ really as anything below is easy to obtain anyway.

I wouldn't buy a site for its page rank as that can easily happen if unique content isn't continuously added, etc. But, regardless, sound advice!

So that begs the question why do you waste your time sending pm's when you know the deal.
