Best Adsense Colors

Can anyone comment on which colors work the best for ad sense?

I understand the best way to get the highest click throughs is to camoflauge the adsense in the site and also use pictures. I have seen the great examples in this post http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=32305.

But what site colors and link colors work the best. Anyone who has done some testing your feedback would be much appreciated.

Look at the ads on this page Popsugar.com. My first 2 days with Adsense I had the same colors (pink, white) and my revenues were very decent. But the colors don't match my site so I changed. That's when my revenues fell.

 

I feel that it's good to have ad colours that are "Easy on your eyes". I personally prefer if all text on the page is one colour, so I would recommend having the same colours as your text. But, even if you have different colours try and have soothing colours. You don't want ads to be obtrusive to your visitors.

Also, images etc are good. Just remember NEVER to ask your visitors to click on your ads. Nor should you ever do anything that tricks users into clicking your ads. Finally, do not place ads too close to your content or navigation as it is against the TOS.
