I am currently using Joomla for my content based site. I will be making another content site soon and want to know if I should stick with joomla or maybe change to another cms.

You can try elxis, also based on mambo like joomla, very similiar, but much, much better and safer cms. Only thing with elxis is that doesnt have so much extensions like joomla, but if content based only site - you dont need them. Its profesionall cms, and its free.
