I need to know what the best CMS is. I am willing to set-up a website with a lot of pages, I don't want to know about hosting needs. Something that is Open Source. It can be payed it can even be worth $10,000. I just need to know the best CMS, and can it handle a lot of pages.

Also, if it can be integrated with IPB, that will be great. (It Doesn't Have to)

Please I really need an answer for this.

Best CMS, to handle a lot of pages.

SEO, furl would be also good.

    Thanks,
    Alec

Drupal can handle a lot of traffic. Very high traffic sites and sites with many pages are using drupal. One is popsci.com the popular science magazine

    I was looking at that.

Looks good, just don't like the panel too much.

I just don't like Joomla most of the fact. Not that it's complicated, just seems weird to me.

I would vote for Drupal.. it's easy, very customizable, and can grow to suite virtually all your needs..

I'm a drupal fan, so I always suggest trying that first. But you could also look at WordPress or Textpattern, or even ModX. There are dozens that could work you for (opensourcecms.com has a bunch you can test.)

~silverwing - never understood what was so great about Joomla.Mambo...

I thought IPB had some sort of CMS add on to it. Check pbuprising.com for a good example.
