    WHatever you guys says.... i will be first one to vote for phpBB .... well initially apam problems strike but with a few intelligent methods we are able to cconrol spam and phpBB is much more customisable and free than SMF ....

    I still think that miniBB is the best free forum software available at the moment.

    It is not for everyone, unless you want a simple to customise, easy to skin, lightweight fast secure forum software. If these things are not high on your list go for something like phpBB and just make sure that you upgrade it every time there is a new release (or have a recent backup for when it gets hacked)

    SMF all the way if you looking for a free bb

    I am working on a script which will be on the lines of vbseo and will have everything which vbseo does and a bit more on top and will be free to use for all SMF users. Will be made public by first week of Jan hopefully if all goes well.

    This script is still in beta and will be free to use until it comes out of beta and once the stable version is out will be priced very reasonably unlike vbseo dd.
    Cant get better can it?

    There is a team of 5 people working on this since last 3 months and the best thing is that we will launch this script in 4 different versions including one for vb to beat the crap out of vbseo :)

    yep, miniBB already has search engine friendly URL right out of the box - no need to install a mod or anything - just configure it.
