    i get some traffic to this joke site,not a whole lot of clicks on ads..what do you suggest as far as placement,color and the such..thanks for all the help

    On your home page, make the ad unit which is above Welcome show text ads only.
    Then between the welcome para and new jokes and top 10 jokes, place a link unit, use the link color same as that of the welcome flower.

    Experiment with making the background white instead of green. Also you could try 2 125x125 buttons side by side or 2 180x150 small rectangles side by side above your Welcome logo. They might fit better.

    I also have a joke site I use adsense and adbrite I make more money with adbrite than with adsense. I make money with adbrite on the image banner.s they also pay higher ecpms than adsense you may want to check them out and if you do use manualy approve ads thats what i do.

    thanks all for the great suggestions..i will try them out now..not sure about adbrite,as i have never had alot of luck with them,but i do get alot of ad impressions
