Best Platform for Real-Estate Website?

Discussion in 'Content Management' started by Lazorbeam, May 22, 2012.

Title says it all; what would be the best platform to develop a simple real-estate listing site?

I'm looking for the following features:
    • Users can log on and post their properties.
    • Can select between regular listing and premium listing.
    • Can upload images.
    • Can specify various attributes such as price, location, etc.
    • Visitors can sort by location, price range, property type.

    Any input is appreciated.

Drupal can easily make this site using fields along with the Views module.
Add the Panels module to make the layouts nicer.

I second Drupal, but it'll take some planning to get all the functionality you need.
However, there are cms's built for the real-estate industry out there that may help you meet your goals faster. Google open-realty.

There are different CMS's for this purpose. Drupal is the way to go but if you're a PHP coder, create your own so you have the full control...(depend on your needs and how professional it should be)
