best platform to build a site like i-am-bored.com?

    Hi there,

    I'm a big fan of i-am-bored.com and have an idea for a site similar to it in another theme.

    I was wondering though, what sort of platform would be the right thing to build it on.

    Essentially the index would list entries that I approve. People would have a submission form where they would enter in a link, some comments on it and pick the category it falls into. I'd like to be able to customize the fields in this form a bit.

    There'd be commenting on the link entries as well as recommending and "favoriting."

    Does drupal offer this stuff? wordpress could work I suppose but it'd be awful "hacky."

    Is there another CMS out there that would be right for it?

    Does anyone know what they used?

    you can use heavily modified wordpress for that.You should use custom script (or modified wordpress)
