Best social networking for marketing purposes?

Which social networking site is best for marketing? Facebook, Twitter, Digg? What has been your experience?

 

I have had good experience using twitter and facebook for marketing. It can bring in good amount of traffic to your website if marketed effectively.

Facebook and twitter is good for driving traffic to your site. That is because they are very popular in this social networking arena. You can also try Myspace and Digg etc.

 

Using Facebook for some days got me good number of visitors. I think Facebook is still much strict compared to Twitter. The network at Facebook and even traffic is higher than any other social networking websites.

depends on your products, business and intended audience - different social networks have different demographics and audiences... worth checking out niche social networks too not just major ones

 

Definitely depends on your products/services/business. But if you're just trying to get some general traffic then Facebook and Twitter are the best in my opinion. However, use them all if you can. No sense in missing out on any opportunities.

 

For Marketing,
Digg is the best site.
Social bookmarking sites are always better for business then social networks.

After digg, i would suggest twitter

 

facebook is good. they improve very fast, and now they seems concerns on ads campaign page

 

I like using Twitter and Forum Marketing. I've been using Facebook for personal use. I haven't really mastered it for business. Maybe I'll think about next.

social media marketing striclty depends on the product that you want to promote. i know that for twitter and facebook, you need some time to make those business acounts! though the targeted visitors are good indeed!

Depends on your business. LinkedIn is best for solopreneurs like lawyers, freelancers, etc. Twitter is also good for that too because it is a great way to spread ideas fast. Facebook is best for companies.
