Best Video Edit Software

Can someone let me know what is the best (but easy to use) video software that can edit videos and produce really cool stuff. I use camtasia and microsoft movie maker, but they are so limited.

I want to produce video like this person http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iCSjZGgBmM

I know she uses a green screen, but there are some incredible editing features going on here. She has screen inside screen... all kinds of incredible stuff going on. Surely she isn't spending 3 weeks editing each video, so there must be some really cool software out there.

She is a Mac girl and already stated in one of her videos that she uses Final Cut Pro. I'm a PC user and don't want to change. Plus, it's hard to believe you could get that quality of production without something more.

Any ideas that wouldn't take 5 years to learn?

Really hope someone has a good answer.

Adobe Affter Effects is really awesome for more advanced options.
Virtual Dub for just watermarking videos pretty much.
muvee autoProducer allows you to add pictures or videos and adds really awesome effects to it.

Sony Vegas 9 is my best for video editing. But if you want to make some cool effects or implement 3d stuff in your videos, try Adobe After Effects.

I went ahead and got adobe photoshop premeire. it has good cool affects and does the work for you if you want. Not sure you can seperate the video and audio (still experimenting) which would be a huge disadvantage and dumb thing to leave out (probably in there somewhere).

Kind of bummed that so many people are saying Adobe "after affects". One more to try/buy. I think that's why Microsoft keeps coming out with new versions of windows every few years, so we are forced to buy new software that will run on it.

Haven't had a chance to try Sony Vegas, but unless it is way better than Premeire, I'll just keep working with that. Thanks everyone - Now to create awsome sales videos!!!

Sony vegas by far. They also have a smaller version called moviemaker or something that helps you get used to it plus its cheaper.

use Adobe Premier, the ultimate professional tool for creating videos, and editing them. Although some knowlodege is needed before using the tool.
