    Both are important. But facebook is good. have more quality than twitter.
    But twitter is fast and superb tool to create traffic as well ranking.
    Instead of this- Facebook gives good quality backlinks and traffic both.

    I like Twitter much more but i think because of the amount of facebook users, facebook is better at marketing than twitter.

    Twitter is the fastest growing site in the world. It's grown ten times in the last two years, to the point where 10% of all internet users visit regularly. It all depends on whether you have thousands of followers, and whether what you tweet would interest them. I have personally gotten 10,000 times more traffic from Twitter.

    Please answer the question, how do you get tons of traffic from Facebook without spamming? At least on Twitter, spam is accepted as the norm, cause people just see it in their dashboards.

    No doubt about face book. it's much better then twitter. But if you want or raise more back links to your website, face book will give you only one like which your profile page but twitter can give you much back links to your website.
