By the way, Bill Gates and his wife Melinda don't deserve the award either. They were probably given the award because of how much money they give to charity. People are too dumb to realize Gates has ulterior motives for giving away money, and just because someone gives you something doesn't mean they want to help you.

Bill Gates, Melinda Gates and Bono(U2) are the time magazine's persons of the year.. Bill has a good side but not to google..

 

Screw Bill and Melinda Gates. They are nothing but pieces of trash. They give millions to Africa for Malaria and Aids and everyone jumps around praising them like their God's gift to the world.

Just because someone gives something to you doesn't mean they care about you. Bill and Melinda get BIG tax breaks from the government because they give a lot to charity. Besides, by "giving" money to Africa all they do is plunge the continent into worse poverty.

Why? The old saying: "If you give a man a fish to eat for one day, he will eat the fish, and then be hungry. If you teach a man how to fish for one day, he will be able to feed himself for the rest of his days."

Bill and Melinda are more than happy to give money to African countries which is abused by their corrupt governments, but why don't they teach Africans how to build their own computers or software. Why don't they help build colleges and universities so Africans can educate themselves and cross the digital divide?

They won't do that because this would allow the Africans to empower themselves and be independent.

You have an extremely valid point.

If Bono wants to do some good let him give money or better yet let him make his music publicly available for free.

But for Bill Gates: If he would spend his time and resources on empowering third world countries (education, education, education) there would be a lot better things to say for him.

Its not necessary for me to know what their charity does, because their charity does nothing to help African countries.

People have been singing the stupid "lets give Africa money to save them" for years. And what are the results? More dirt poor Africans dying of disease and living in poverty.

Don't give money to corrupt African governments who are partly the cause of the African people suffering in the first place. Teach them how to fight their own diseases and build their own infrastructure.

To get to the level of wealth and power that Bill and Melinda Gates have achieved requires a killer instinct, and lack of compassion and cold hearted logic.

It is impossible for Bill Gates to show compassion for African people because having compassion isn't a requirement to become the richest people on the planet.

I may be wrong, but it seems logical. I just don't trust rich powerful people. Throughout history they have done nothing but enslave those beneath them.

 

Their is one other thing most of you don't know about Bill and Melinda Gates. Both Bill and Melinda Gates have been present at the Infamous "Bilderberg Meetings" secret meetings where wealthy and powerful people from European and American nations get together every year to discuss world events and planning.

Many people are suspicious to the nature of this group because their meetings are private. Add to this the fact that the meetings are guarded by the KGB, Mossad, CIA, and other special forces.

The stuff I've heard about the Bilderberg Group is bad. Their is a lot of evidence that they dictate world policy.

How it relates? My goodness. Bill and Melinda Gates are making the African nations "dependent" on them. Africa needs to be independent.

Africans need to be able to take care of themselves, not rely on The Gates Foundation. I have no sources right now that can verify that the Gates Foundation gives money to African governments but lets use common sense. Who else would they give the money to?

Aren't research institutes not connected to governments? What good is conducting research into curing African diseases when the average African can't afford the treatments?
