I'm thinking setting up a adult site butim stuck between blog or forum.

    Blog:

Easy to manage because only I am the only one that is writing the content

    Forum:

Allows members to interact and interaction would lead to great growth in site. After some time, content is auto-generate by them.

    Any other inputs?

I would go with a forum...like you said it allows others to interact and interaction would lead to great growth in site.

    BLOG pros:
    - quality control
    - ability to add other staff members, contributors
    BLOG cons:
    - harder to promote and bring traffic

    FORUM pros:
    - easier to bring additional traffic
    - anyone can contribute
    - collection of emails / accounts you can market to
    FORUM cons:
    - spam and posts leading to pages with viruses/adware
    - quality control low (unless heavily enforced)

    Best,

to be honest I think blog is easier. Read some forums that deal w/ adult sites. one thing DP is not the best for is Adult Site information.

Many adult webmaster forums that I lurk on say blogging is the way to go.
Personally I have no experience though

I'm in your situation; just planning to get started.
