Blog Placement Again

I've asked before, I'm always redesigning and looking to optimize my ads as best as possible. My high was at about 2.0 percent in early 2008 when I first consulted DP.

I changed from a black theme to a white theme and haven't had as much luck since.

Recently, I was not satisfied with the 1.10 percent (the 1.10 percent was forced because I switched to all image ads) and changed it again, my results, are really getting pathetic now at about .80 percent.

Any recommendations would be awesome. I am willing to take any advice because I've literally tried everything that my little brain can come up with.

I'd use all image ads again, the problem is they are not diverse enough, when I block one ad that I know nobody would click, another one shows up, no matter the keyword.

I appreciate any feedback, preferably would have to do with colors, but placement, anything. I just got rid of the sidebar ad to raise the CPM, which it did.
