    I am actually looking for something pretty similar to allow clients to have access to parts of their sites which I have created for them

    You might want to look at "Snippet Master" - its not an CMS as such, but does provide a great set of tools for you to add to existing html pages where your clients have access to some parts of each page. ( www.snippetmaster.com )

    am i correct in thinking that the likes of drupal, wordpress etc can not edit exsisting sites?
