Bookmarking or social networking????

Which is better, sharing links in bookmarking sites or in social networking sites??????

 

Why one or the other? Do both.

 

If you are looking from branding point of view then choose social networking sites and for SEO point of view choose Bookmarking sites ( Do Follow and No Follow ). But as stated above, even I agree with benjaminp to choose both.

 

Submitting links to social bookmarking sites is not as popular today as using the social networking sites.
If you have a huge number of friends, followers and fans/likes, then it is advisable to post links in social networking sites.
You might as well share links in bookmarking sites if you want to.
As other people are saying, why share links to one of them when you can use both?

 

I agree, you can outsource your bookmarking and it will take you literally about one minute to submit to thousands of other bookmarking sites..Social Networking is long term

 

I think social networking are populer nowadays.

 

Both are best social bookmarking and social networking is the good way to the websites promotion and it is good for our websites....

Social bookmarking is better as compared to social networking because it provides branding and search engine benefit but social networking website are only responsible for Internet branding.

Sharing link is better than bookmarking but you should never give up bookmarking.

 

Both are very important for website promote. We can get good backlink from social bookmarking and good traffic from social networking. social networking site like facebook, twitter is the best way of increasing traffic.

 

Depends on your objective. If your looking forward to increase the ranking of your keywords, then you should go for social bookmarking. But, if you want to create awareness on your product or service, then it's better for you to increase your presence in social networking sites.

 

For backlinking, it's best to do both so that you will have a variety of backlinks. Personally, I prefer social networking sites because they are more interactive. You get to reach more people through social networking sites too.
