Is it by rules to have border around ad, and what size of border should be?
Can border be dotted? Like mine is at http://www.unixpected.com

    Thanks!:)

Strange....It seems that the ads did not appear when I visited. As long as the borders are not meant to confuse visitors to click on the ads and are properly spaced apart, that should be ok.

It is not necessary to have border around your ad.There is no fix rule.

No if you're blending ads, yes if you're contrasting ads.

The middle just above center. Think of the "fold" as a piece of paper, rather then a web page. Fold it in half, open it back up, and look where the fold is. Place your ads just above it where that fold would appear if you did that with your web page.

..Your border is fine. I prefer the border. It blends in more. However if you are not satisfied with the click through, take the border down for a few days, see if it changes any.
