    yes, however you don't NEED Adobe Photoshop to create boxes like that.

    the GIMP is an open-source image editor that is MORE than capable of doing this, download it here: gimp.org

    Okay, so create a new layer on your image, draw your boxes and lines, and then turn the layer opacity down to maybe 30 or 40%

    Apply a new layer to the image, draw the sqares, hold shift to make em perfectly square, use line tool to extend the squares and fill them with white color. Then turn the opacity down to about 15% or so...

    I thought there was some kinda pre-made pattern for this, so I just apply the pattern and I am done. no?

    Ya it's pretty simple, just a matter of opacity. Use white, and use a square and line from the shape box, and then make them line up with a guide if you like. Then you can flatten the layers of white shape, and then lower its layer's opacity...probably down to 30% it looks like? so yeah...good luck :)
