Brand new member, with brand new site!

First of all I want to say hello to everyone on this great forum, I've been lurking for months unregistered, and finially decided to register and chat...I love this forum!

I have a few sites but this is my first site, that I'm using adsense on:

We've only been up for about 5 days now, and yesterday we had about 2k uniques, and it keeps going up...

I just want to know if you guys recommend me doing anything differently? I want to make the most money possible out of adsense, since that is my only source of income for this project.

Should I set a channel for my ads, or should I just leave them with no channel?

Am I allowed to post my google stats on a forum? I'm really not impressed with the #'s for the first 2 days...Does anything change after the first week? The ads seem pretty relevant right now...

Also yesterday I clicked on one by accident, not realizing that I was at my own site! doh! Should I email them about it? If so whats the best email to contact them at?

Im speechless. your site up only 5 days and got 2k unique. My site up for 5 years still not reach 1k unique.

Dude, it looks pretty good to me. Maybe, I would put a sky scraper in the right column, but that may be over kill. Are you using css or tables?

edit: dude, I just caught that ad under whats new, nice. Thats def my style. dont change it at all.

I would add anbother ad on the bottom of whats new and get rid of the bottom leaderboard. I have similar adplacement on my site and it does alright.

Also, love the username.

I just refreshed the google adsense report my clicks went up one, but my earnings stayed the same? Why does it do that?

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1471/ is one i am playing with. Also, if you clear the cache and refresh, you may get different results.

 

Well I just installed the "Adsense Notifier 0.8" from the firefox page, pretty cool it puts all the info on the bottom of the browser.

Basically just have friends who have established sites, plug games on there sites that link to mine...

Yesterday I had 5108 uniques, hopefully today more!
