    Hey , guyz , good day .

    Anybody , having an idea to market , in the Instant Messanging area ?

    Suppose , that we own a chat room on the internet , what strategies , scripts , techniques , and methods , can we use to run a Ad-network in the IM world ?

    Suggestions are most welcome , and are highly invited .

    an ad network in the IM world would not work, most people consider receiving unsolicited IM's as spam. And reputable companies would not purchase any advertising through your network.

    no dear it will not work in any im , because around 70 people in this world thik it as spame , so it would not be sucessfull

    Thank you for your kind replys . guyz . :D

    But what i want to imply is that ,
    i am sure going to open a Chat room , or maybe like a conference , where my visitors can discuss about the site .

    So , here is where i can use a Robot guy , to advertise , and may be link to feed posts , turn up intersting articles , videos , by providing links as if the bot speaks to the chatters .

    So what do u think about using this strategy ?

    Opening a chat room ,
    Let people discuss ,
    Intrude and maybe through away some useful media ,
    Let them visit ,
    And at the last , if possible , earn some .

    My opinion is that it is just like spam emails. If I'm going to chat with somebody the last thing I want to see are robot messages.

    You could but a banner on top of your chat room if you host the chat on your domain....

    You kind people , are saying that it would be a spammy idea ??

    But i dont know , if you have understood my idea in the first place .

    Actually , this is it .
    My Fan site's fans , want a medium to interact between themselves .
    So i am going to provide a medium to do that ,using a chat room .

    Thats it .

    Monetization only comes at the last place , where ads and banners come into the scene .

    So , now , do u think , this would work ????

    IM as a place where people ( Fans in my case ) , meet eachother ???
