Buy-Sell Text Links .com - A BIG SCAM

    I dont know if this is the right place but I thought I should share this with you.

    I signed up for this service & added my PR4 site to the sell text-links section.

    Next day one person bought a link from me for $10 (I would have got $8 from that deal.)

    Now, the link was in place from 8th Dec till 17th Dec.

    Then I got this mail from them
    I thought ok, maybe they would pay me for the time the link was in place, so I asked them whether they would pay me

    This is their reply
    Ok I said. Maybe even , Buy-sell textlinks .com wont get any money , so how will they pay me. I had forgotten about the incident till I got this mail

    It was they who told me to remove the link, they who told me it was a fraud link & it is they again who are asking me why I have removed the link

    I havent seen a BIGGER SCAM than this

    Please tell me what to do about this

    I am afraid that it's not their fault, the owner of the directory you mention has done this in several occasions. Read this thread for example.

    The second email that you got is obviously an automated email, propbably because they forgot to remove this link from their watch list. Just email them and explain to them what happened.

    Yep. I got the email too! In fact. It was me who reported dirmania.org to them in the first place :)

    They sent me the same mail again today. After I mailed them about the problem. Now that is surely scamming.

    But FYI -
    The site is http://www.dirmania.org & not .com .
    Also the thing I am frustrated about is that you keep sending me mails that I have removed the link from my site. Why dont you just remove that site from your database. Why send me the mails everyday .

    This is one of the issues where AdSense and Google are worth and why people prefer them. It is very sad that some one advertise on the site for some time and not pay for the service.

    They, TextLinkAds, are a pretty decent outfit by all acconts, so I would assume they were not at fault in this.
