    This is a local blog (for Blackpool, UK) and subject matter is everything going on in the local area. It gets roughly 100 - 200 unique visits per day.

    If you would be so kind as to give me your advice and opinion on the ad placements and anything I can do to improve I would be extremely grateful.

    Nice blending on the adsense ad on your right menu. For the adsense in your content area, I would incorporate it within the posts (wrap it around your article) instead of leaving it in a separate box by itself.
