This new thing I am into is something that is totally unique on the market right now... it doesn't really fit into any one box as you will see, so I am struggling to position it well.

Business Overview: Employers are my target market: CEO, Owner, CFO, maybe HR director --- ideally employers of 7-3000 employees. I don't know how many folks on DP have people on the payroll, but I am interested in your take if you do. The elevator pitch of the business solution is that it is HR management software bundled with expert live legal counsel and an employment practice liability policy. It is meant to help employers deal with the maze of laws, regulations, and lawsuits related to employment/labor practices. I will stop there because I don't want to give you any bias going in.

    1. What do you think of the value proposition?
    2. Did you understand the need for the solution before viewing the site?
    3. Did that change after viewing the site?
    4. Any big turnoffs from a branding/positioning perspective?

fyi - this is not a sales pitch (and besides the product is only valid in California right now)... it is a brand new website with a different angle on the solution which we have been selling for 2 years with happy customers... The website just went up tuesday, and I posted it in the "website review" section, but what I really need is some honest feedback on the value proposition of the product (not so much layout or design, but that is good too) so I can target the content correctly.

you are selling some sort of services i guess, i don't have that good knowledge about payroll, but it would be cool if you add a pdf for users to download and print your brochure .

Thats a great idea... I hate reading things on a screen myself, believe it or not. I will put a PDF on there.

And yes, its a service, actually, a web-delivered enterprise software package + legal and HR expert counsel services + an insurance instrument to protect employers from employee-brought lawsuits (which usually aren't covered by general liability insurance). I am struggling to put together the web marketing... it takes so much more effort to educate a potential client on a latent need than just to fulfill a need that they already understand.

    thanks for the comment forumrating!
