    Yes, it's very possible for a guy and girl to have a completely platonic relationship. Three of my closest friends are girls (I'm a guy) and I've never thought about sleeping with any of them (not consciously anyway). I dunno, just some people get put into the 'friend zone' and stay there. One thing I find amazingly hard though is staying friends with an ex. That stuff is impossible =D
