I have problems with the formating of your page - loads of question marks in place of characters. The placement looks okay to me but be aware that Google won't take kindly to you displaying their ads on a blog all about how to make mega bucks from AdSense. There's an obvious conflict of interests. I also have a site about AdSense but I don't use AdSense on it - to do so is foolhardy.

I would suggest try to make some good blogs and put quality contents regularly. In this blogs you can place your ads. In the same ways search from free classified sites and advertisement sites where you can get a place to post your links. The other way is by article submissions where you can post your adsense links.

There are a number of techniques that I've used for adding high converting ads. THe key is to have a placement in the main content area of your page. If you are publishing a blog or fresh content, try an ad block in the main content area - this should improve your click through rate.

I like having the ads above the fold.

Make sure your template is pretty ugly though, so that people want to leave - hopefully by clicking your links!
