Firefox is not a slow browser. I think your internet connection is a slow one.

If you already use a Google account, Chrome is the best. You can sync all your tabs, bookmarks, and settings from all your devices. It's nice if you have a Google account and use Gmail, etc. Firefox is what I used for a long time before switching to Chrome. No complaints about Firefox. It's fast. Just stay away from IE.

    Go for Chrome.

I've been a fan of Chrome lately. It's faster than the rest I use.

Try out Google Chrome or Opera. Both work pretty fast.

Firefox, but sometimes it freezes out (it's been in the last few weeks for me, don't get why)

Chrome has been very reliable in terms of speed and compatibility of online applications. I like that it has a pre-installed flash player.
Right now I have Chrome Portable which makes it easy for me to access my saved Chrome profile wherever I go.
