Can sitemap does miracales?

hi, i have a website of which is banned by google. now one of my friend told me tht if i submit a well build sitemap of my website (which is not submitted till now) and resubmit the website to google then it has more chances of listing into it quickly. is it true?

also pls suggest me the ways how can i list that website into google again and quickly.

Why is it banned? The only way to get back in is to fix why the site was banned, and put in a reinclusion request.

but sitemaps helps google to keep track of keywords used on your site

Sitemaps don't list keywords, that's for the Google spiders to find once they visit your site. The sitemap does list your URLs {url}, how often (you claim) each page is updated with new content {changefreq}, and how important (you claim) a particular page of your website is compared to the other pages on your site {priority}.

The sitemaps interface tells you if a site is banned doesn't it?

 

I like Google Sitemaps because it tells you if there were any http errors like a page not found error (404).

It also tells you what keywords it has indexed for your site. You can find the words that are unrelated to your theme and delete them. Also you can check what keywords are sites that link to you in order to make sure that you have quality links linking back to you.

Another is that it tells you when was the last time the site was crawled and a little graph that displays your overal site with what ratios have good PR, low PR and waiting to be rated PR pages. It also tells you what is the highest ranked PR page on your site.

I think these are great features to help you keep track on how google views your site, invaluable!

lol , why this 2 guys are banned?!

 

I've been using google sitemaps for a few of my websites and haven't seen any signs of improvement...seems like it doesn't do much

 

I keep submitting updated sitemap to G but they still list pages i removed 6 month ago. (and they say I have 404 errors )
Neither I've seen changes in my position.
I agree.. it doesn't do much actually... maybe in the future who knows..
