Can Social Bookmarking help me?

My site is an ecommerce site, rather than yet another webmaster blog I'm trying to market.

Can social bookmarking still help me? I was thinking of adding those buttons you see on blog posts to the footer of every page.

Stumbleupon can give you a quick burst of traffic, but the "links" you build on the main stumbleupon site are of course with the "nofollow" tag.

I personally try to submit every article I write to the major networks such as netscape, digg, del.icio.us, furl, reddit...just to name a few.

Social bookmarking sites are useful in getting traffic and stumbleupon is the best one for me, but submit to many as possible.

I would imagine that you wouldn't see much traffic from places like Digg, Reddit, etc. but it doesn't hurt to have the buttons on your site.

Hi, I just started using social bookmarking, but I am not too sure that I am posting on the right sites. My site, www.goodnightmoonfuton.com, sells futons and such so I am not really to sure that it belongs on sites like Digg.com or Furl. What do you folks think?

    Thanks for any advice,
    Matt
