Can Some Pls Tell Me How To Change .gif To Psd for photoshop edit

Hi all,

ive got a little project i want to do but have no clue how to do this,

i just want to add a web site address to a image a example what a friend done is over here

if you look at the images in the right hand bottom corner is the web site address i want to put in but only have the .gif images


i have around about 15 items i need to do, if this is to hard for a amauter like me

You just need to add text on a graphic right? For 15 images?

I'm pretty sure you can do it in imageready, but not positive. I'm not at my computer where it is installed.

 

imageready ?? this is longer avalible, ive got photoshop 7.0

So you are trying to convert a .gif into a .psd with all the layers intact? Impossible.
If you want it just into a .psd straight, without layers, it won't do anything really.

If you just want to edit, you don't even have to make it a .psd.
Just copy the image onto a blank document, and erase, and put in your desired parts.

If you import the gif into image ready you'll have each frame of the animation on it's own layer. You can then move it over to photoshop for editing.
