    I just want to show the link and have the desc. and the link color be the same as the background color.

    Nope, that's not allowed. Blending in the URL and description with the background is against the TOS. It's in there somewhere. ;)

    If you have white background then you can try and blend it out but in effect what you will get is a greying effect to prevent this sort of thing happening.
