Can you place adult ads on an adult Tumblr blog or will this ban you?

    Hi everyone.
    The thing is that I have two Tumblr blogs up and running, one of them is with adult content and it has already 800 followers, so I thought of making a small profit of the blog by putting adult ads on my blog.
    The thing is that while I have seen A LOT of blogs like mine with adult ads on them, a guy online told me that Tumblr will ban my account forever after I make a small amount of money from these ads. Is this true? Has anyone tried it?
    If I can't place banner/flash image ads on my site, can I still make money by linking my picture posts (through set a Click Through) to sites that pay you whenever someone views your uploaded pics, such as Image Twist?
    Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

    I guess you should edit your profile as an adult-content blog. This way you will not get banned.

    Ya, thechallenger is right!! And you can also try xhamster webmaster program they move like click through only, so it may help you to make some little cash. :)

    Yes, my Tumblr blog is rated as NSFW/containing adult content, but is that it? That guy seemed very serious and I hope this isn't true...

    Do you mean that I should put xHamster ads on my Tumblr blog or what? Sorry I'm relatively new at this lol :/. Has anyone else tried this? Has anyone's blog got deleted of ads? Ugghhh... I've worked so much on mine :(.

    In tumblr, your tumblr page is viewed by not only people who like porn but also people who hate them. You safe from the lover but not from the haters. one or some of them soon or later will eventually report your tumblr and they will delete all your hard work in less than a minute. Don't burden your self with this future headache
