I have a CMS that uses Firefox's text editor. It does not work properly tho. The text editor remakes all < and > to < and ≶. This should of course not happend.

Can you recommend a good text editor?

Hmm John M What do you mean by FireFox text editor?
Do you mean (View-> Source)?

If that's the case then use other text editors like Notepadd++. (Unfortunately, Firefox has no extension for that).

Notpad++ has all the features Notepad has but Also:

Supported languages :

User Defined Syntax Highlighting

Auto-completion

Unicode support and many other features as well.

And most important one is it is absolutely FREE ;)
