    you have no meta description or keywords so how can google know what kind of site you have.....try a link unit on the side bar and a 300 or 336 ad block at the bottom of each post

    You have the search box okay, but the square unit at the bottom is not okay. I suggest a little banner at the top only text and good color that goes accord with your page.

    At homepage you'd better increase your post title size, it's even smaller than author name. And place post date, tags, categories, comments and consider to place text ads into your post content.
