Can you take a look at my adsense placements

Hi there, I am having quite a lot of people come to my blog and am only getting 0 - 1 cents a day, can anyone take a look at it and give me any tips, thank you

colours are good but i think you must insert your adsense inside your blog posts. not above your title

 

seems ok. insert ads inbetween posts.
cpc depends on your theme. may be your theme is not too highly paid.

 

Large Skyscrapper on the right and change the top ad unit.
The 468*60 rectangle is the worst converting unit I've ever had.
Try not to make that border "so blue"

 

Try changing that top-right 200x200 to 160x600 and in a block under "recent posts"

And take out that border color on 468x60, no borders..

And also for the both change the color of the ads. All black can be fine , but also try titles colors #309CCE

I had look again after the changes, think the blue on the 468 ad titles are not good, also try black, and you must also do the same coloring to the 160x600

And one last thing; the 160x60 should be one block higher. and correct the bg color of the ad.

 

look clean i think you need to add some more ads

 

OK, I've made some more changes as stated by hasbehas, is it any better, the background or the sidebar one I cant do anything about unless adsense offers a transparent back which i doubt very much. Thank you

 

nice site having, but u don't have any back link yet.. how many visitor a day for your site? so that u can earn a lot of adsense...

im trying to get backlinks at the moment, and i tend to submit all posts to SB sites to get links, but the new site is only about a week old so it isnt listed brilliantly in google yet.

PS: change the color of url to black in 160x600 ad

 

I would like to report that I have seen a massive increase in the number of clicks, i was getting at most one click a day before I did the replacement and now I have had 2 days where I have got about $4, not bad for 5 minutes work, thanks again to all of you and I've given you all reps for helping me out.

That'll require a plug in wont it, i'll look into that when i get chance later

 

Love the site. Quite visually appealing.

Maybe you should try using the Google search feature on the top instead of your own search feature? Just an idea.

 

for the google search feature to work doesn't the site have to be indexed by google really well, it is only a couple of weeks old on the new domain so it isnt properly indexed. I may start to use both
