Cannot Get Arial Font Out Of Italic

    See screenshot to understand please....but when I have an image open and try to type underneath it, I type using Arial font, but it only types out in "Italic" font. I go up to that area circled in red, but it is locked. Any help is appreciated!

    Hi. I think you can turn this off in options mode in color pallete. I hope it works.

    Hi: Thanks - I use Photoshop version 6.0 and do you mean goin up to FILE EDIT IMAGE etc. up on top there? Across? Or where do I click to find "options" mode?

    Click the Type tool on the image to create a new type layer. While the cursor is still blinking, press Ctrl+T to bring up your type options. Make sure itallics isn't selected in the menu that is brought up, instead of at the top where you're checking it.

    No it wount help, first of all delete your existing arial fonts from c:/windows/fonts/, download new ones and copy them. This will help you for shure, sometimes it happens to me.
