Capitalism... why so bad?

Man comes running towards you in civilian clothing with a weapon and will kill you as soon as he gets close enough. Do you need a trial to believe that he would have killed you if he were not stopped in time?

 

There is like massive bums in San Fransico when I lived there, I don't know if its still the same, but they used to have tent cities under the freeways, sometimes I used to wander around there at night, just to bug myself out

It's getting worse and worse. Downtown is pretty much the worst I have ever been in. The smell of urin, masses of homeless, it is a disgrace. And there are so many organizations that pledge to help, but in reality everyone is benefitting financially pimping out the cause for donations that more or less wind up in their own pockets. (I've lived in SF from 2002-2004 and went back to visit after attending the San Jose SES - no hope for that town IMO).

 

I don't see where capitalism is the cause. It's the @$$holes that abuse it ...

The court case was about a week ago and it is wrong and against American tradition and constitution. What are you trying to say, do you agree with Constitution or do you think that government should have the power to arbitrary imprison people for indefinite time?

How about bank robbers or suspected bank robbers should we wait for them to rob a bank again or should we just shoot and kill them in street. How about suspected murderers, should we just put them in prison without proving that they actually killed someone? How about if they suspect you of cheating on your taxes, why should we waste money on courts, won't be simpler to shoot you or put you in prison for ever to make sure you won't cheat on your taxes?

there is a whole culture based entirely profit with no ethics that is an off shoot of capitalism. That I think causes problems.

The company that will dump toxic chemicals , with no thought of the consequences, other then saving a few bucks

The buying of influence from the government, basically buying laws to help certain companies or industries, the buying of subsidies .

Like the energy bill that just went thru congress, if you guys are really into free market capitalism then you should really be against subsidies right?

Wow. You are incredibly stupid. Once again I am saying something. You said you don’t bash America. I’ve now pointed it out that you do again and again. Yet you can’t admit it. What I’m saying is you are a hypocrite. The thing is you got caught and called out. Instead of admitting that yes you bash America you try to run and turn the debate back to the government.

 

City is run by a very liberal government. They actually hand out a lot of welfare money, but the problem is housing. I used to pay $900.00/month for a tiny studio apartment.

Capitalism is never at fault, the restrictions placed upon capitalism are what is at fault.
