    Seems everyone changed their profile picture on facebook. Have you noticed it? I'd like to ask your opinion about cartoon profile pictures on social networking site. Is this a way of generating traffic? Or is this just something for the month of December?

    Oh I really don't know about this campaign.. One thing that comes out of my mind is it's another way of generating traffic from facebook users. So what is it all about?

    It was a campaign for children.

    I never saw the thought and sense of changing profile pics in facebook
    for their campaign.

    Maybe it was just made to generate more traffic.

    It was a way to express your help and support for child abuse, yeah it can be a traffic or viral campaign... but it soon spread from a few errant friends that pedo's were behind the group... that rumor spread as fast as the cartoon campaign itself.

    When it comes to using Facebook for marketing purposes then it's best to use your business logo as your profile picture. As for cartoons – many businesses use cartoons in their logo, because cartoons appeal to most of the people in the world. However the choice of logo depends on what your marketing niche is.
