Catching emails for newsletter?

    What is the best way to collect emials for a newsletter. I am looking for a method to actually collect the emails and have them in a excell file or something like that. I cant make a form to just send them to an email address because of the vollume of emails. I dont want to open hundreds of emails to extract the emails I get.

    PHPList is perfect for this, it provides the basic function you are looking for (collecting emails) however has greater functionality to allow people to unsubscribe themselves, has canspam compliance, and will actually manage the sending of your messages. Open source.

    I use Aweber.com for my mailiglists. Great since newsletters are build fro RSS feeds ans send... Helps you comply to anti-spam laws as well..
