i think you should use black background colors on your bottom ads. Your left ads colors and position looks good.

Change your layout a bit, bottom ads are screaming "ADS HERE"....
also align your footer ads to center...

The background just doesn't go well with the site. You can clearly differentiate between ads, images, and content. I would consider changing it for something a little more friendlier looking and then adjust my ads accordingly.

I would have to agree with Manthem, the background really doesn't mesh well with the design. It's clearly obvious which are your ads and which is your content. The point is to not make that observation.

I'm thinking this looks a little better. Not sure about the left skyscraper though...maybe image-only ads there? Referring to the LanzSpeed site. The other one is a work in progress, but i like the blending....humble opinion. :D

    First site is fine.
Second site not so good: You can't label referral buttons with things like "This Web-Design Team Recommends" because the only reason you recommend it is because you get $1 per download! If you must label ads (and most people don't) stick to 'Advertisements' or 'Sponsored Links'.

First site looks good but they may be blended too much and mistaken for content/navigation links.
