    Hi guys...

I have been involved with a couple of web project that required SEO Friendly CMS.

    We needed full control over:

    • Page Title
    • Intelligent page naming - Filename and prefixed path
    • Page Meta Keywords and Description
    • Robots Meta
    • Automatic generation of Google XML Sitemap
    • Automatic Re-Submissions of XML Sitemap
    • Use of H1 H2... tags
    • Small file sizes for quick download times
    • Valid xhtml code
    • Link Hover Text
    • Secondary Domain redirect to avoid duplicate content

    To just name a few...

    • http://www.vw-used-touareg.co.uk/ -Used Touareg
    • http://www.faceact.co.uk/ - Non Invasive Cosmetic Therapy
    • http://www.palebeck.co.uk/ - Panasonic Telephone Systems London
    • http://www.tcl-packaging.co.uk/ -TCL Packaging

We used Beyond CMS from www.psusoftware.co.uk as the platform to deliver the required solution.

We did look at other open source CMS, but felt we would not get the support we required.

    I hope this helps...

Guess it's too late, but you can use iLister's CMS. Even though it's a classified script per se, its CMS gives you a chance to assign any url to any content. Want it .com/Christianity/catholicism.html or .com/Christianity/catholicism/ - no probs. Keywords and description for every page, WYSIWYG editor.

You may find good use of the classifieds or category sections, or even use listings as article items, removing all fields but title and description. Treating it as a classifieds site with articles under cats and subcats you set up will give you the ability to use bread crumbs, browsing for good search engine optimization, ability to allow registered users to collaborate (and prevent spammers and abusers by setting a price for a listing to $0.01 to send article for pre-moderation).

May be too late for you, but can be helpful for someone else.
