I installed a demo of joomla for a client, and he is totally lost and finds it too difficult.

Does anyone know a REALLY simple cms system, that does rss feeds and such, is open source, and is real easy to use?

    Thanks :)

That is about as easy as it gets. It will make alot more sense if you set it up for him to function as it needs to.
Your other option is to use something like Wordpress with this http://www.wpremix.com/home/

hope that helps, a little kid could use wordpress :)

I do agree, Joomla is widely used just because it's available as one-click installation in most hosting services but really useless if your site doesn't require of all those functions that are pretty hard to work with in such case.

I would advise you learn more on different CMS scripts available here www.opensourcecms.com, place at which you and your client can also find fully working demos to decide ;)
