CMS Needed

    I need a fairly simple CMS (it does not need all that user only sections like joomla etc...etc). The CMS has to be VERY customizable and easy to skin, not like Joomla where you have to follow strict guidelines.

    Thanks, pr0xy. :cool:

    wordpress is pretty simple imo...

    It also isn't so very hardcore like joomla, druple etc..

    Just food for thought.

    CMSMS located at: http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/
    Have installed it a number of places and really really like it.

    *The best thing is it is content/article/paged focused (not slashdot/joomla/nukes that are news focused) and very easy to write articles
    * Very easy to modify templates and css online
    * Upload and edit images
    * Can upload and write modules/extensions/tags

    Actually, does anyone know a CMS which embeds into HTML rather than having to skin around it?

    Joomla or Drupal i would say allthough, as i said in the other post, $300 would get you a CMS that would bolt onto any site, also come with a free WSYWIG editor and a free image manipulation tool. PM me if you want to see a demo of this, thanks

    I go all out for Drupal. It can be as simple as a single author, to complex one that supports a whole organization. Its modules are extensive. Simple or complex, Drupal is for you.

    I have drupal, mambo and wordpress.
    I LOVE drupal! Mambo is horrible IMO and I like wordpress.

    Drupal is relatively easy to use and has a ton of features. Which you may want to use later. Or not.
