CMS which has good sub category support

    Hi,

Which CMS would be good for a site with lots of subcategories.

I've played around with Joomla just now. But it doesn't have any subcategories.

A quick read about PHP Nuke suggests that it doesn't have subcats either.

I've tried Drupal. But while that has subcategories (in the form of the taxonomy module), the navigation seems a bit poor.

Essentially, this is what I'd like to do...

I'm creating a site about people with a structure like

    People
    - Person
    - Favourite Websites
    - Pictures
    - Hobbies
    - News
    - Blog

For each person, I'd like a page associated with them, such as a biography.

But under each person, I'd like subcategories containing their favourite websites, pictures, hobbies, News. These subcategories won't be containing static pages, as things like the news will be updated on a periodic basis, much like a blog.

Please could someone recommend the best solution. The closest I've found so far is the Category module along with Drupal. But that isn't perfect, as adding pages to categories is a bit messy.

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

Have you come accross the Community Builder extension for Joomla?
I believe it would cover your plans if configured properly.
