CNET Blackballed by Google!

Not the domain, but Google is now refusing contact with CNET Press representatives after they published a privacy concern article and in doing so published a good deal of private information about Eric Schmidt!

you need to take the comma , after +privacy for the link to work but an intresting read in some ways... there again i never assumed that what i do on the internet is all that private anyway

 

Hmm, after reading that article it made me want to remove all my toolbars and uninstall google desktop search so they wouldn't see me trying to get ranked for these keywords!

I think that it is ridculous for Google to stop talking to a news source about something like this. Sure there is a lot of privatte information available online, but why blame Google. Google should of spun this article in such a way to encourage people NOT to put personal information on the web unless it is truly needed

 

hahaha, ooops... I think publishing the neighborhood was taking it a little too far... but other information is publicly available anyway as is the neighborhood, I'm sure... but I don't think things like that should ever be broadcast to such a large audience, even to prove a point... that's just messed up in all reality.

 

My stepmothers ex husband knows one of the guys who stared google. Weird, isn't it?
