You know nothing about SEO and you certainly know nothing about health and the human body. You're a fraud and should shut your mouth.

Great but don't visit India to all people from Western countries or you will get looted. Go watch rich civilizations of robotics not lies and fights of kings in some country like India. Last week the Amazon delivery boy got looted in front of me by 5 boys on 3 scooters in front of my eyes. These things go un-reported anywhere in newspapers because they have to cover daily the paid political news and I lives in capital of India.

I've recently just started drinking coffee at work and have about 4 cups a day. I only drink black coffee though, I couldn't justify my weight gain if I had sugar or milk!

Coffee is one of these beautiful little daily things which ought to be appreciated for me, however, I got to a point where it would be smart for me to lower my consumption. 4-5 coffees a day can't be good for my sleep in the long term, even tho if I cut at approx 4pm.

I used to be able to drink caffeine up until 5:00pm or so with no bad sleep effects. However, over the past couple of years, I have had to stop drinking caffeine after lunch time or I would find it affecting my sleep at night. Hopefully, the caffeine clock does not continue to wind down. :)

For me, it's either a coffee or cigarettes. Can't pick up both though.

I like to add condensed milk to my coffee as of late. A friend of mine introduced me to this Vietnamese style and I find it absolutely delicious! Just remember to brew your coffee strong or even better, with a french press :)

    • The major thing that affects whether a person contracts diabetes or not is their lifestyle. A sedentary, no-exercise lifestyle is one of the first "symptoms" (causes) of diabetes.

    • I studied diabetes and wrote on it for two years. As far as the "coffee connection" is concerned, I would suggest that the extra energy that coffee gives would make people live a less sedentary lifestyle.

    • In other words, they will get up out of their office chair, or off the couch and do something. Being active is crucial to good health.

    • Not many people know that coffee destroys the B vitamins in the body. Guess what? B vitamins also give us energy, just like coffee.

    • So... the choice is, do we get our energy from just drinking coffee? No. Its better to get energy from other sources as well, because coffee does damage to other sources of energy.

A few years ago I did research for an article in the "Journal of Clinical Nutrition" for a writer friend of mine. While doing the research I found that vitamin B in the body was only affected if one was to drink 870 milligrams of coffee per day, everyday. This would be the equivalent of 9 cups of coffee. Moderate coffee consumption is fine and will not impair your bodies ability to utilize vitamin B.

Is it caffeine or something else in the coffee that affects Vitamin B? E.g., would drinking a lot of tea have the same effect?

It is indeed the caffeine, but fear not my tea drinking friend.:) A cup of tea or a cola for that matter, contains only 50% of the caffeine that a cup of coffee has. So...you could conceivably get away with drinking 18 cups a day before it would adversely affect the B-6 or B-12 in your body.

By the way even if you did over consume you could easily replenish your B vitamins the very next day. All B's are water soluble and are so very easy to replenish.

I love coffee. I'm having one right now. Brewed through one of those Vietnamese drip-pots.
    Very nice.
