Communication Error ?

Ok so I recently PM'ed DigitalPoint -Admin.. Asking him whether or not there was a specific/official chatroom for dp on e.g msn, skype, yahoo, etc. seeing that there is no chatbox here besides chat.php on the nav bar, and he replied saying hes actually never asked the community. So here I am, asking you all. Is there anywhere all the members "meet-up" and chat. Its kind of hard communication wise to get real-time support to urgent questions or what not. If there isn't anything of the sort, I think it would be a great idea to start using the chat function or implement another way.

    Regards,
    Tekton :D

I've never liked chatrooms, especially on a webmaster forum.. waste of time but if you have too much time, then that's another story...anyway NO from me..

you can get supports within few minutes in forum , so there is no need of chat.

btw providing support on chatroom is bad idea.

@ Richie_Ni, I respect your opinion ;) I can understand chatrooms sometimes bring un-wanted trolling and useless replies, but I think its somewhat important to have someone to brief on an issue in real-time for support besides using google or searching the forums =/

If you buy something from DP, you need to contact the seller by sending a pm or email message. You can also get his messaging ID to communicate with him. Most people will reply within 1 - 2 days.

yah, replying within 1-2 days is exactly my point @ Zirkon. Real-Time Support is needed =/, but I don't see my suggestion going any further than this thread so I'll leave it at that :)

Well basically this is a free forum so people don't have the responsibility to help you in real time, I actually found that starting a thread in a related category works much better..
