Community/Social network and membership

A little unsure if this post is supposed to go here, so let me know if it's wrongly placed.

Anyways...I'm in the starting point of making a community/social network site, but want to add paid membership so that the users have to pay yearly fee to access some parts/or all parts of the website.
I would prefer to use something similar to joomla, drupal, etc...But can't find a possibility to integrate the membership payment. I want the users to see all the pages/links from the first page, but when they try to enter the different pages they will get a notice that they don't have permission/or need membership to enter.

Any suggestions on what I can use to do this?

The site will include a little of everything hopefully - articles/blog, auctions, a store, gallery, profiles, forum, etc...and possibility for me to add other pages too. All this can be done with both joomla and drupal, but do any of you have any other suggestions? With something so that I can have the paid membership? (And if you know of a way to have this as I described with joomla or drupal, please let me know...but I haven't found it yet - They have some, but not as I described above).

    Thanks. :)

There are so many good and free social networks, so are you sure people are going to pay ?
People can also now start their own networks in sites like ning.

However, if you need a solution you can shoot off emails to boonex or phpfox or even vbb.
If you are comfortable with drupal ( which has a lot more options to do stuffs with sns) you can see these

    http://drupal.org/project/feemanager
Some people also recommend drupal ecommerce.

    Thanks for the tips :)

(And the reason for the payment is because of some other features I didn't mention :) )
