    I prefer Twitter. I hate FaceBook. In Spain, where I from, Tuenti is more or less like FaceBook, and I prefer this than FaceBook.

    I prefer Facebook, that it's a bit more interactive than Twitter. From an advertising stand point, it's also much easier to target demographics on there.

    It's hard to compare Facebook and Twitter. In most cases Facebook has more users than Twitter. But for simple communication Twitter wins.

    Facebook and Twitter are BOTH big business! Each one has different benefits, dependant upon what the individual user wants to get from it!

    Sure on a personal level, Facebook seems to be the clear winner, with the sharing, connecting with friends and family.

    But Twitter - the search facility that gives you up to the minute information is like nothing else around! The power of the hashtag is immense, and both personally and from a business perspective I get a LOT from that facility.

    If you are using Social Media for business, then you can't really afford to favour one over the other, because your target audience are hanging out in their masses in both networks!

    My preference is Facebook just because of its strong privacy settings. User have the full control of his/her sharing and privacy in FB.
