    Hi Everyone,
I've just started using Addsense on my website and its been a bit of a failure so far. At the moment my weblogs tell me I'm getting Average Visitors per Day 632 and I'm making close to nothing off that.

So I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what I should do to improve things. I've seen some Adsense software that gives you loads of stats and lists of top paying keywords. However I'm not sure if these guys are con artists or not. I want to know how to get decent traffic and how to make moeny off it. Are there any resources/sofware you can recommend?

    This is my website:

The site looks awesome, and the placement for the ads is good.

However, the ads arent relevant. I dont understand how Kevlar Body Armor has anything to do with games! Thus I wouldnt click.

Focus on adding more keywords into your body text to get the ads more relevant, and them Im sure you will see increased clickthrough.

I saw you used the word game only 3 times in your page here, and 2 of them were article links....

Don't pay for a keyword list, odds on it'll be out of data by the time you've paid for it.

A good idea of the value of keywords can be got by using the overture tool

Though you won't know what google is paying at least you'll be able to find out what words are good
eg personal injury lawyer would give you a value of $10 top bid
whereas warcraft games would give a value of .14 cents top bid (your site had a lot of these adverts when I looked)

Of course trying to rank in the search engines for the first one would put you up against a lot of very good experienced SEO people, and you would be lucky to get many visitors. So it would be a good idea searching terms and perhaps aiming less competitive words in a niche market, but with a higher top bid than for game related.
    Good luck :)

Thanks. :) Yes I thought body armour was pretty weird. I'll have to fix that. I wrote some articles (on the right hand side) to bring in targeted traffic and they seem to get the right kinds of adds.

So how do some sites get the huge visitors numbers? www.stevepavlina.com says in his first month he got 100,000 vistors and 12 months later he says he gets 700,000. I used a program called GoodKeyWords on his site and it said he has thousands of links leading to his site. How would I go about achieving something like that?

Also can I ask your opinion of programs like Adsense Tracker (there was another one but I forgot its name)? Are they worth the money? The get rich quick sales pitches really put me off. So I'm not sure if they are worth the money or time.

Yeah, if you see any get rich quick pitch my advice is to avoid it like the plague.

To get 100000 visitors/links in your first month seems very high,

He's could be buying links from a link farm (bad idea),
    buying traffic (bad idea)

    or he may be legitimate

has a lot of other site of his own and is putting ads/links on them
    has an adword campaign
Is a member of advertising networks such as the coop here on digitalpoint (again would need to have established sites beforehand)

My advice to you is to take your time, go for a get rich slow stratergy, it involves a lot of hard work, but is better in the long run.

Advancedfutures coment about keywords is very good advice. There is a lot of good advice on digitalpoint, read up on the SEO sections, submit your sites to directories and I'm sure you'll soon start to make more revenue.

    :)
