Content Management Systems Questionnaire for my MSc

Hi all

I'm a Technical Writer and I'm just about to finish off an MSc in Multimedia Technology, which I've studied for in my own time. I've become very interested in Content Management, and have been allowed to complete my degree project on the subject.

With that in mind, I've created a short anonymous questionnaire that asks respondents with experience in Content Management to assess the Content Management Systems they have used.

Background to the Questionnaire

Technical Authors are increasingly involved in content management. In my experience, the tools used to manage content are often imposed on the team, with little or no discussion of whether they are appropriate. It would be nice to have a clearer picture of the available alternatives in these situations, as it would enable us to argue our case more effectively when the wrong tool has been chosen.

I hope that this questionnaire provides some insight into the Content Management Systems we are currently using, and their comparitive merits.

I'd also appreciate any feedback you have on the questionnaire, and on the subject of Content Management generally.
